Each summer, All Saints partners with another church in B-SAFE, the day activity program for at risk kids living in Boston and Chelsea. B-SAFE is administered by St. Stephen’s Church in Boston’s South End. It is designed to help every kid feel safe, feel big, and feel connected. Its overall mission is to decrease urban violence and increase academic achievement.
As a partner parish, we provide lunch each day for 100 children, teens, and adult staff at the B-SAFE site at the Church of St. Augustine & St. Martin in Roxbury. In July 2018 we partnered with Church of Our Saviour during the fourth week final of the program, and had a wonderful time.
How to get involved:
- Shop for groceries for the meals we prepare
- Help with meal prep here at All Saints
- Transport meals into Roxbury
- Serve lunch and spend 30 minutes reading with a child after lunch
