Thanks to all 24 of you who contributed to the success of our September MANNA Monday meal. We had a large, appreciative and lively group share in our Saints Alive Chicken Casserole lunch at the Cathedral with 8 of us from All Saints. A special shout out to all the faithful and giving individuals and families who provided the ingredients for our meal. You are awesome! This is where it all starts.
Our Saturday and Sunday crews worked together with determination and great spirit to prepare our meal…not exactly turning water into wine; but it was, honestly, quite an amazing process to see our meal take shape so quickly. Our next meal will be on Monday, Nov. 26. We are looking at alternative prep dates for this meal as Thanksgiving weekend may be challenging to staff properly. Stay tuned.
